Cecilia Bonilla

Uruguayan artist Cecilia Bonilla graduated with MA Fine Art from Chelsea College of Art & Design, London in 2007 after completing her BA (Hons) Fine Art at New World School of the Arts, Miami in 2004. Bonilla’s delicate collages are comprised from imagery sourced from antique books, magazines and encyclopaedia. Her ‘Myths of Nature’ series combines pin-up photographs of women with images of insects, animals and trees, exploring redefined relationships between humans and wildlife where beauty, fear and repulsion co-exist.
