Michael Boffey

Michael Boffey graduated with MA Fine Art from De Montfort University, Leicester in 1997 after completing his BA (Hons) in Fine Art at Loughborough College of Art and Design in 1994. His fascinating process combines silver gelatin photography; multiple exposure techniques; bleaching; resizing; deletion; over printing; and digital processes. Boffey embraces the historical notion of still life as memento mori to make beautifully nostalgic work that meditates on loss, love and reminiscence.
