Richard Moon

Richard Moon graduated with a Postgraduate Diploma in Fine Art from the Royal Academy Schools, London, in 2005, having previously achieved a First Class BA (Hons) in Painting at Camberwell College of Art in 2002. Moon adopts traditional figurative modes of representation to address a world increasingly saturated with digital technology and photographic imagery. Employing slow, methodical techniques to explore historical, mythological, and political themes, his uncanny work reveals a sense of nostalgia and longing for the ideals and aspirations of bygone eras.
