Zavier Ellis

Zavier Ellis graduated with MA Fine Art from City & Guilds of London Art School in 2005 having read History of Modern Art at Manchester University between 1993 and 1996. Ellis is a prominent gallerist, curator and artist. Made in response to deep research, his work combines text and expressive materiality with an emphasis on fragmentation. Interested in deconstructing histories and questioning society’s conditioned responses, his current work is focused on religion, revolution, nationalism and repetition.
